Message I met up with AlanM and Al(Nizzan) at spongerider's place, those guys helped installing the new oil cooler and the short shifter. Turned out great I love how the car feels with the short shift. We all went to dinner and then I left to go home. I wanted to stop in Newport and fill up on race gas but before I could take the exit off of 405S I spotted a yellow CBR which seemed like had an aftermarket exhaust. I knew this guys would race so I got beside him let him hear the BOV. He immediately got on it and I was read for it. Freeway was pretty empty so we went balls out and I pulled on him immediately. We tried this on the freeway several times and I would pull on him hard. I even turned down the boost to 19psi since we were on the freeway and the car would still run away from the bike. Then we took an exit in Irvine where the streets are empty and wide :-). As soon as we took the exit we got side by side in my second gear and we went at it from the roll. I had turned up the boost again to 26psi when we took the exit I knew i woould need it on the street. So we are at the next stop light and I tell him that that was a lot of fun, he gives me this look and tells me "I've never lost to a car like that before, WTF do you have in this car?". I told him bolt-ons to stock motor(which I do) :-). He seemed very impressed. I told him that I know I have no chance from a stop :-). Then the light turned green and we both launched pretty hard, I remember my tires spinning off the launch as the bike on my left hand side is popping a wheelie and he's trying to keep the front wheel on the ground. We both caught traction at about the same time and he pulled maybe about a car on me immediately, I remember watching the tach and banging gears at redline, the car surprisingly kept up all the way until the middle of 3rd and then I started pulling on him again. It was a little late though because we were coming up on traffic real fast, so I let off. I gave him a wave goodbye and took a U-turn to get back on the freeway.

This was one of the most fun races I've had yet. The bike was very nice and fast. The guy had a matching yellow leather suit and helmet. I should've talked to him some more to see what he had for mods but I was way to excited. Didn't get race gas either, by the time I got home the fuel light was already on :-(. Race gas here I come!!!!
